·         Short and Long-term company growth through planning and execution
·         Business development through sales, budget development and strategy
·         Company name recognition/marketing/trending/future markets
·         Representing Company’s vision, mission and values
List of Key Responsibilities (in descending order of importance):
Short and Long-Term Value/Growth:
·         Leads Company’s efforts (with CEO and the Executive Management Team) to initiate, design, implement and manage strategy related to sales and marketing objectives including:
o    Efficient and profitable pricing strategy
o    Guidelines to submit proposals
o   Analysis of sales results
o   Analysis of marketing initiatives
·         Grows profitability by prioritizing and capturing new customers and growing and maintaining revenues with existing customers
·         Develops and initiates metrically driven sales priorities and tracks within the existing systems
·         Researches marketplace to find potential cooperative ventures and projects that provide an opportunity to market/sell the company’s professional expertise and services and creates an action plan for achieving new business
·         Shares/presents sales/marketing/industry  trends, competitor analysis and opportunities to CEO and Executive Management Team in weekly Executive meetings
·         Participates in financial reviews reporting performance updates and forecasts regarding the Business Development function
·         Provides leadership to the sales organization, and counsel to the management team in implementing business development objectives that reflect business goals
·         Responsible for equitably assigning sales force quotas and ensuring financial objectives are optimally allocated to the team
·         Responsible for creating and maintaining the Business Development budget and operating the budget within approved guidelines
Business Development:
·         In conjunction with executive management, establishes sales objectives, including sales and profit levels, market penetration, market share growth, sales force requirements, marketing programs, initiative/support programs for growth
·         Ensures that a knowledgeable and aggressive sales force is available to efficiently carry out the sales and marketing strategy that has been developed and approved for action, insuring the necessary growth targets are attained
·         Generates new business and maintains existing relationships in the markets and lines of business served by the Company to reach sales goals and objectives
·         Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships
·         Directs, develops and drives sales growth and channels by executing strategic sales and marketing plans
Marketing:
·         Lead efforts to develop innovative proposals, presentations, RFPs, marketing materials and other collateral that represent the Company’s vision, mission and values to attract clients and quality candidates
·         Responsible for the design and contents of the Company’s websites, Social Media and Intranet (Employee Portal).  Ensures information is relevant and current as services evolve
·         Directs marketing team to identify trends/opportunities through analysis and market research
Education, Licenses and/or Experience (Requirements)
·         Minimum of BS degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration, Masters’ degree preferred or executive courses in management
·         10 years’ experience with leadership responsibility in engineering, construction, industrial or service industries
·         Knowledge of  construction and engineering sales path, contracts and RFP processes
·         Experience in business development and marketing
·         Experience successfully managing to metrics and analytics

·         Excellent verbal and written communication  and presentation skills in various mediums and for diverse audiences

·         Keen negotiation skills with demonstrated Sales and Leadership skills

·         Ability to read, analyze and interpret client policy and contract documents
